During June, the Pula depreciated against all major trading partner currencies except the rand. The Pula depreciated against the euro (4.5 percent), the yen (2.3 percent), the pound (3.4 percent) and the US dollar (2.6 percent) while it appreciated by 2.0 percent against the rand. Similarly, on an annual basis, the Pula depreciated against all the currencies except the rand. The largest annual depreciation was 19.5 percent against the euro and the smallest was 5.1 percent against the pound. |
