During August, the Pula depreciated against most major international currencies. While it depreciated against the euro (0.1 percent), the US dollar (0.4 percent) and the yen (2.6 percent), it appreciated against the pound and the rand by 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively. On an annual basis, the Pula fell against all the major currencies. It depreciated the most against the euro (8.6 percent) and least against the rand (2.3 percent).
